How we got our start...
In 2004 I joined the Army & served as an Infantry Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. After 8 years of service & a deployment to Afghanistan I decided to focus on spending more time with my wife Larsony & my children, so I left the military.
I began an apprenticeship working under my father-in-law & mentor Bert Bertrand of Bert's Bugs. I learned the trade of pest control over the next several years gathering as much experience from Bert as I could.
In 2017 I decided to branch off & start a business of my own & wanted to implement part of my past into the company. I decided to call it Army Ant Pest & Termite & display a likeness of my old unit patch in my company logo.
I wanted to bring with me the attention to detail, tradition & the importance of doing a job right, that I learned while serving. I am passionate about striving for perfection even in the little things.
